Soribada memilih 100 album terbaik selama tahun 2000-an, mulai dari tahun 2000-2009. Menurut Soribada, “Kami memilih album 2ini berdasarkanpengamatan 39 orang profesional di musik, dari kritikus musik, jurnalis, komposer dan penulis lagu yg bekerja sama dengan majalah musik, ‘100 Beat.‘”

CEO Soribada, Yang Jung Hwan, melanjutkan,”usik adalah cerminan gaya hidup dari generasi masa kini dan mengandung banyak makna. Kami percara kalau daftar ini tidak hanya untuk melihat ke belakang, kenangan 10 tahun yg sudah lewat, tapi untuk melihat kemajuan musik dan berharrap untuk bisa jadi bagian prediksi musik di masa depan.
