Sejujurnya, MBC Gayo Daejun periode 2011 diharapkan untuk menjadi penutup tahunan yang sempurna. Namun sepertinya,hal itu tidka berjalan dengan baik dan mengecewakan para Idola dan fans mereka.
Kesalahan-kesalah yang terjadi telah mengacaukan efek panggung dan juga membuang percuma waktu rehearsal yang dikerjakan oleh para idola. Beberapa idola yang mendapatkan "kecelakaan" dengan hal ini antara lain U-Kiss,MBLAQ, 2PM, Wonder Girls, Shin Moon Hee, dan SHINee.
Pada kasus U-Kiss, hal tersebut disebabkan oleh kesalah pahaman antara staff dan grup ini. Saat MC memperkenalkan U-Kiss, layar menampilkan U-Kiss diatas panggung. U-Kiss yang tidak mengetahui akan hal ini menjadi terkejut saat intro dari "0330" mulai. Untungnya, para anggota dengan cepat melakukan improvisasi.Hal ini berjalan dengan baik.
Walau masalah telah selesai, tetapi pemirsa memfokuskan diri pada ekspresi terkejut dan tidak siap para anggota U-Kiss.Mereka juga mendapatkan masalah dengan mic mereka.
MBLAQ adalah korban terbesar dalam acara ini dikarenakan masalah suara dan mic. Penampilan "Mona Lisa" menjadi kacau karena masalah suara tersebut. Para anggota dengan frustasi berusaha untuk mengikuti ritme musik.Hal ini dapat dilihat di wajah para anggota.
Penyanyi Shin Moon Hee menanggung peristiwa memalukan saat penampilannya berlangsung. Pada saat panggung diangkat ke udara, bagian panjang roknya tersangkut dengan suatu benda dan dia dengan terpaksa memegang roknya agar tidak robek. Untungnya, rok tersebut hanya robek sedikit di bagian bawah dan dia lolos dari pertunjukan yang tidak layak dalam penampilannya.
Penampilan SHINee juga cukup halus hingga saat teaser untuk comeback mereka ditayangkan. Pihak produksi langsung memperkenalkan peformer berikutnya, hal ini menyebabkan fans tidak dapat menonton teaser dari SHINee.
Wonder Girls juga mengalami hal yang sama dengan Idola lainnya dalam hal suara dan mic. Pada penampilan khusus mereka, Wonder Girls menampilkan lagu "Me,In" secara live. Hal ini telah ditunggu oleh para fans dan penonton, tetapi karena masalah yang dihadapi itu, para penonton dan fans menjadi kesal.
Kesalahan paling jelas terletak pada 2PM. Walau mereka selamat dari bencana mic dan suara, tetapi sebagian besar penampilan mereka tertupi oleh sebuah bola raksasa. 2PM membawa santai masalah tersebut dan mengolok-olok bola tersebut dengan mentweet ucapan selamat tahun baru berserta kata "gohng" *Korea ; Bola* dalam tweet mereka sebanyak yang mereka bisa.
Dengan begitu banyak kecelakaan yang terjadi di MBC, sangat bisa dipastikan bahwa MBC tahun ini memegang kinerja paling buruk untuk penampilan akhir tahun. Sangat memalukan karena penampilan para artis terganggu oleh kurangnya kerja sama dan ketidak siapan peralatan panggung. Ke depannya, fans akan terus mengingat hal ini.

Dongho U-Kiss cedera di lututnya
Dongho U-Kiss dikabarkan cedera dibagian lututnya saat berlatih koreografi menjelang comeback mereka September nanti. Dongho berada di Osaka, Jepang, tanggal 5 Agustus saat cederanya terjadi. Menurut laporan, Dongho mengalami cedera tulang rawan di lututnya dan dilarikan ke Rumah Sakit. Untuk mencegah cederanya lebih parah, lutut Dongho diperban.
Meskipun cedera di lutut, Dongho tetap ikut berpartisipasi di perayaan kembang api di Harajuku di Tokyo City, tanggal 6 Agustus kemarin. Karena cedera lututnya, alhasil diapun hanya duduk manis saat menyanyi bersama U-Kiss.

[Trans] U-Kiss appreciates the musical “Goong”
Konnichiwa (Hello). This is a staff (of “Goong” musical).
Last week, K-POP group U-Kiss visited our back seats (sat at the last row of the seats meant for crew). They have given Goong Musical rave reviews which we will now introduce to you.
AJ:
I enjoyed watching the Goong musical.
Every scene had a lot of fun parts, there were also moments where it was very touching.
ELI:
It was really enjoyable.
I have been able to watch and enjoy both the drama and musical.
KISEOP:
Firstly, thank you for extending the invitation to all our members (to watch the musical).
Interesting portions of the drama were also presented in the musical and it was very enjoyable to be able to watch it.
The singing of songs in the during the musical was also very good. Also, I hope to have a chance like this.
HOON:
Though I have also watched the drama, I fel that there was actually a good difference.
The songs were good and the actors ability were very high.
Fantastic time spent.
KEVIN:
It was awesomely enjoyable.
I felt the abilities of all the actors.
I have also watched the drama, yet again I discovered the charms (of Goong) and was very touched.
SOOHYUN:
As the members were saying, it was really awesomely enjoyable, I was very touched.
We too, if we can do this kind of jobs, we will work hard with utmost effort.
Given this chance, we will really be very thankful.

U-KISS signs with Avex, prepares for Japanese advancement this year by VITALSIGN on June 3, 2011 at 10:32 pm
U-KISS has announced that they have signed on with Avex Japan to officially prepare for their Japanese advancement.
On June 5th, representatives of NH Media confirmed, “U-KISS signed a contract with one of Japan’s biggest agencies, Avex, for their advancement.”
The decision to run with Avex was made amidst many other offers from competing agencies. After signing with Avex, the boys settled on having the city of Osaka at the core of their promotion plans, and they’re now beginning to prepare for their official debut.
Representatives of Avex said, “We will be doing everything we can to support their Japanese promotions.”
Their advancement has been in talks since the end of last year, and representatives revealed that Japan will be just one of the many Asian promotions that they have planned for the group.
NH Media continued, “On August 24th, we will be releasing the Japanese licensed version of ‘Bran New Kiss‘ to begin gaining a footing in the market.”
In December, the boys will be releasing a major Japanese debut single, followed by their first nationwide tour next year.

Life after U-Kiss, Kim Kibum transforms into a CEO
After leaving the group U-Kiss, Kim Kibum (aka Allen) has been keeping himself busy with various activities.
Most recently, on May 20th, the idol turned young CEO attended a special launch event / fan meeting in Singapore for the toy character ‘Piro Piro’ which was held together with Warner Singapore. The character is from his jointly owned company named HnB Company that he set up with his brother, SS501’s Kim Hyung Joon.
The promotional event was held to help spread the name of Piro Piro for export business purposes, it was stated that around 1,000 fans attended the event.
At the event, the idol was greeted by fans who prepared a special audio and video message for him. Because of their kind actions, when he returned back to Korea, he posted a thank you message to the fans on his twitter account.
With much exuberance, Kibum stated, “Now that I’m alone, I have much more responsibilities to handle. To show my appreciation to fans all around the world for showing their love, I’m in the progress of composing music to eventually return to the entertainment realm. At the same time, I’m also handling my business obligations.”

Super Junior has been elected as the group's most popular K-pop.
The spanish language (television network) TV Azteca recently conducted a survey to find out the most popular Korean singer. In the poll, saw participation from a total of 32,851 people, Super Junior received 8517 votes and got first place with 25.67% of the total, while the (artists like) SHINee, So Nyeo Shi Dae, SS501, Big Bang, Wonder Girls, 2NE1, Beast, U-Kiss, FT Island, CN BLUE, 2PM, Miss A, (and) BoA is below (SuJu in the acquisition of polling).
Today, Super Junior has activities through subunit Mandarin Super Junior-M, and will make their official debut in Japan through their album "Shows" on June 8.

Tinggi Dongho ‘U-Kiss’ bertambah 8cm sejak debut
Maknae U-KISS’s Dongho ternyata mengalami pertumbuhan yang cepat, baru-baru ini ia mengungkapkan bahwa ia sudah menjadi lebih tinggi sebanyak 8 cm (3.14 inci) sejak debutnya.
Saat ini daftar profil tingginya menjadi 178 cm (5’9 “), yang menunjukan kalau ia sudah lebih tinggi 8 cm karena ia terakhir tercatat 170 cm (5’6″) pada tiga tahun yang lalu di awal debut U-KISS’s.
Dongho menjelaskan, “Pada saat debut saya, saya nyaris 170 cm. Karena semua hyungs saya begitu tinggi, saya benar-benar tidak punya pilihan selain untuk menambah sedikit tinggi di profil saya dan membuatnya menjadi 173 cm. Setelah setiap merilis album baru, bagaimanapun, aku mulai tumbuh sedikit ketika promosi untuk “I’m Not Young’ dan “I Like You”. Perusahaan kami akhirnya menambah tinggi profil saya 2 cm lagi, tapi pada saat kami selesai mempromosikan ‘Bingeul Bingeul’, tinggiku jadi 175 cm. Sambil mempersiapkan ’0330 ‘, aku memeriksa tinggi saya dan sekarang saya benar-benar 178 cm. “

Fansclub Hallyu Perancis Ramai-ramai Kunjungi Korea
RUPANYA tak hanya kawasan Asia saja yang keranjingan tontonan dan lagu-lagu Korea. Efek gelombang Hallyu rupanya turut menerjang dataran Eropa, salah satunya Perancis.
Dalam rangka libur Paskah, para penggemar drama dan musik Korea yang tergabung dalam , berkunjung ke negeri ginseng ini.
Sejak kedatangannya pada 9 April lalu hingga dua minggu kemudian, fansclub asal Perancis ini melakukan tour ke sejumlah lokasi syuting.
Beberapa di antaranya yaitu taping program reality show Music Bank di studio KBS, serta Show! Music Core di MBC.
Hari ini, Rabu (20/4), rombongan yang terdiri dari 54 anggota itu akan mengunjungi kantor SM Entertainment untuk bertatap muka dengan para personil SHINee.
“Saya menyukai budaya Korea sejak menonton drama Autumn Fairytale, 10 tahun lalu. Sejak saat itu, saya jadi penggemar berat Song Seung Hun,” ungkap Sha, salah seorang anggota Korean Connection, seperti yang dikutip Nate News, Selasa (19/4).
Kecintaan pada seni dan budaya Korea juga dirasakan Caroline, anggota Korean Connection yang berusia 35 tahun.
“Perancis merupakan dengan jumlah penggemar Korea terbesar di Eropa. Kecintaan kami pada K-Pop berkembang menjadi rasa cinta pada budaya Korea secara keseluruhan,” tuturnya kepada Nate News.
Allkpop.com, Senin (18/4) juga melaporkan, Korean Connection juga sempat bertemu para personil U-KISS saat syuting variety show Music Bank di KBS.
Rupanya syuting Music Bank kali itu tak hanya diramaikan para penggemar asal Perancis, namun juga sejumlah reporter yang didatangkan langsung dari negeri menara Eiffel itu.
Para personil U-KISS mengaku bangga kedatangan para bule Perancis ini. Bagi mereka, ini merupakan salah satu cara untuk mendongkrak jumlah wisatawan yang mengunjungi Korea.

Banyak Kpop artis mengunjungi Thailand minggu depan untuk perform di konser amal. Bagian 1 dari konser amal akan diadakan di Impact Areana Muang Thong Thani pada 21 April 2011, sedangkan Bagian ke-2 akan diadakan di Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center pada 29 April 2011.
Kpop artis yang akan perform pada 21 April adalah 2PM, Son Hoyoung, Kim Taewoo, Infinite, Kim Hyungjoon, U-Kiss, danPark Jungmin. Konser kedua pada 29 April akan perform Super Junior, TVXQ, Se7en, F.Cuz, MBLAQ, Teen Top, dan The Boss.
PD Showtime, penyelenggara acara amal ini, telah menyelenggarakan berbagai event termasuk konser amal Far East Movement’s pada awal April. Beberapa keuntungan dari konser Far East Movement’s digunakan untuk dana bantuan Jepang.
