SS501′s Kim Kyu Jong releases tracklist for debut solo mini-album, “Turn Me On”

Earlier last month, SS501‘s Kim Kyu Jong announced that he’d be the last of his fellow members to finally make a solo debut.  The date has been finalized for September 28th, and the tracklist has just been revealed!
Titled “Turn Me On“, this single will be his first singing efforts in nearly a year and six months. Ever since SS501′s last group promotions, he’s been pursuing an acting career, starring in musicals like “Goong“.
“Turn Me On” was co-produced by Taewan and Han Sang Won, who both have experience composing SS501′s “U R Man” and Rain‘s “Rainism” and “The Song That’ll Hold You Back“.

Saya pergi ke Musical Goong yang dimulai pada tanggal 11 bulan ini pada hari Selasa.
Saya mewawancarai Kyu Jong San (yang berperan sebagai Pangeran Shin) sebelum pertunjukan.Dia menceritakan bahwa dia sangat gugup pada hari pertama dan bahkan tubuhnya gemetar.

Kyu Jong San bekerja sangat keras sewaktu pertunjukan,suara yang bagus dalam nyanyiannya,hidup dalam nama Pangeran Shin,membuat saya sangat tersentuh.
Terus terang,ia berbicara dengan suara yang lembut dan hangat,sangat berbeda saat bernyanyi~!
Setelah pertunjukan,saya tidak sengaja mengobrol sedikit dengan penonton yang duduk di sebelah saya, “Usaha yang bagus”.
Dibandingkan dengan (Goong) di Korea tahun lalu, ada aliran yang lebih baik dalam alur cerita saat ini, emosi antara karakter yang lebih intens juga.
Saya juga mengobrol sedikit dengan Run San.Run berkata dengan nada agak cemas bahwa setelah melihat penampilan panggung Kyujong san, un merasa bahwa dia benar-benar hebat, maka ia akan bekerja keras untuk pertunjukkannya sendiri.
Kyu Jong San sudah sangat baik,tetapi sya mendengar dari beberapa sumber kalau Run San lebih baik dalam hal bernyanyi,maka sya juga tertarik dengan pertujukan Run.
Dan,Run San juga sangat tampan.

I went to watch musical (Goong) which started on the 11th of this month on Tuesday.
I interviewed Kyujong san (who is starring as Shin Prince) before the show. He relates that he was extremely nervous on the first day and was even trembling throughout.
However he sounds pretty relax today even though my interview is just prior to the show. Perhaps because today is already the third day of performance.
Can I say Kyujong san really is a nice guy!
Even though it was a pretty rushed/impromptu interview, he was all ready, waiting for the interview to begin when I arrived.
“Wants to take a photo, can? Will it be alright?”
“Yup, no worries, go ahead.”

Kyujong san was very hardworking during the show, great voice projection in his singing, living up to the name of Prince Shin, making me very touched.
Frankly, he speaks in a very gentle, warm voice, greatly different from during singing~!
After the performance, inadvertently had a small chat with the audience next to me, “great effort!”
As compared to (Goong) in Korea last year, there is better flow in the current storyline, emotions amongst the characters are more intense too.
I had a short chat with Run san too. Run related in a rather anxious tone that after seeing Kyujong san’s stage performance, felt that he is really great, hence will have to work hard for his (Run’s) own shows too…
Kyujong san is already very good but I heard from sources that Run san is even better in terms of singing, hence am also interested in Run’s show.
And Run san is also very handsome.

Group SS501’s member Kim KyuJong started his sharing/charity activities with his appointment as the ambassador of ‘Heart Heart Foundation’.

Kim KyuJong volunteered for a welfare activity at an animal shelter last winter together with Lee Hyori and his group member Heo YoungSaeng. He took up the appointment to be the ambassador in order actively return the love he received from his fans.
Kim KyuJong, who was recently casted for the role of the main lead prince for musical ‘Goong’, is busy with his practices for the musical as well as being a featuring artiste in SS501 member Heo YoungSaeng’s solo debut album.
Kim KyuJong said with regards to his volunteer work “I didn’t do it because I used to think that since I’m a public figure, it is an embarrassment to be recognized. It is always weighing on my mind, and now that I have the chance to take part to be the ambassador of ‘Heart Heart Foundation’, I am really excited and will be participating actively on the sharing/charity activities.” He also suggested fans’ participation.
Kim KyuJong will be personally preparing food for undernourished children under the ‘Warm Meals’ campaign, and will be participating in the sharing/charity performance of Heart Heart Orchestra, the very first of its kind, which is made up of developmental disabled youths. Besides that, he will also be providing support to other poor countries, and the fans will also be able to participate in other charity works together with Heart Heart Foundation.

SS501 Kim KyuJong was reminiscing the past.
Kim KyuJong posted a message in his own twitter on 11-Apr “Year 2005!!! Time flies fast..!! Woahahah heehee” and “It is spring~~!! Mansae !!! Everyone, let’s work hard with a smileeee”. With that, he also released photos of them during SS501 days. The photos show various images such as the members holding hands and running, making funny poses, during interviews, etc. Especially eye catching is his youthful and green looks as compared to now.
Kim KyuJong also posted a message on the 1st, “Year 2005. It is already year 2011”, and conveyed his complicated feelings. In 2005, they debuted and ended their contract with DSP Media in 2010, he showed his yearnings towards the 5 years which he has spent with his members and fans.

Male group SS501 is accelerating into their solo activities. After their exclusive contract ended with DSP Media last year, each of them moved to a new company, SS501 members are returning as solo singers one by one this year.

Coming in first is Park JungMin who released his solo album ‘Not Alone’ on 20-Jan. Even though his influence is not as great as when all members are together, he quench the thrist of fans who have been waiting for SS501 and gained popularity.
