What are the boy groups up to this Christmas?


We’ve already reported on what the girl groups have got planned for this Christmas holiday, and now it’s the boys’ turn!

Super Junior: Ni hao, Christmas
Super Junior will be spending their Christmas overseas, as the group will be leaving for Guangzhou on December 24th for their “Super Show 3” concert on the 25th.

TVXQ: Two weeks before comeback”
Yunho and Changmin of TVXQ don’t have any public schedules lined up, but they’ll be busy nonetheless as they spend their Christmas preparing for their upcoming album release.
The duo will be tackling final preparations for their album, and SM Entertainment further revealed, “This album contains a higher level of Yunho and Changmin’s vocal skills and emotions.  The album consists of a variety of different tracks, and has a high level of perfection.”

JYJ: Meat and soju
JYJ, who’s spent a busier year than most, will be taking a break on Christmas Day.  In a meeting with reporters, the three revealed, “We’re planning to eat mak-chang and have a couple of drinks on Christmas.“  On the 31st, the trio will be performing at the KBS “Acting Awards.”
They’ve revealed that in February, they’ll be heading overseas for their U.S. activities.

2PM: Christmas with the JYP family
2PM will be attending their label’s year-end concert, “JYP Nation – Teamplay“, on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day, the boys will be appearing on MBC’s “Show! Music Core.

2AM: First concert of our lives
2AM will be spending their Christmas with about 24,000 fans at their first-ever concert, to be held on the 24th through the 26th for a period of three days.  Having achieved consistent ‘home-runs’ with their singles,  ”Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die,” “I Did Wrong,” and “You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls,” the group will be wrapping up their fruitful year with a rewarding concert.  The boys have delayed the rest of their schedules in order to fully focus on it.

SHINee: With 24,000 Japanese fans
SHINee will be spending their Christmas in Japan.  They’ll be leaving on the 24th to prepare for their first concert, which will be held on the 26th.  Interestingly enough, the concert will be held twice at Yoyogi Stadium. Although they haven’t yet debuted in Japan, the group has already earned a hot response from Japanese fans, leading to the decision to add another concert date.

B2ST: Running at full speed next year
Having created triple hits this year with “Soom,” “Shock,” and “Beautiful,” the group is aiming for the top with their unit debuts for ‘Thanks To,” “Let It Snow,” and “When This Door Closes,”; additionally, they plan to release a full-length track for “Lights Go On Again“. Consequently, it will definitely be difficult for the boys to spend a free Christmas.
On the 24th, they’ll be making appearances on “Music Bank” followed by “Show! Music Core” on the 25th; this in turn will be followed up by a performance on “Inkigayo” for the 26th.
They’ll also be meeting with Japanese reporters for interviews, and have other minor schedules planned for over the next three days, in addition to preparations for the KBS, MBC, and SBS year-end gayo festivals.

Is your head spinning yet, reading all of these hectic schedules? We’re not sure how they do it, but all the same, it’s sure to be a Christmas they’ll never forget!
