Nine girl groups to compete in a battle of the brains

Around New Lunar Year, many of the networks hold special television shows to celebrate. KBS will broadcast their "New Year Special! Idol Brain Competition" on the 3rd. In the special, nine girl groups will compete in a battle of the brains, for a chance to win a scholarship through quizzes.

The girl groups include T-ara, Brown Eyed Girls, Miss A, Sistar, Secret, f(x), Rainbow, Girls' Day, and Dal Shabet. The competition will be fierce since some of these girls have strong educational backgrounds. Brown Eyed Girls' Miryo and T-ara's Hyomin both had excellent grades from their primary school years.

Rainbow's Jaekyung was her primary school representative and high school chairman. Secret's Jieun was class representative for grades 1 through 6. Miss A received education in America, while Girls' Day's Minah won the Incheon Poster Competition back in the day.
