BoA’s mother, Sung Young Ja, recently published a book called ‘The Golden Rule’, which talks about her secrets on nurturing a successful singer as a daughter.
In the book, one of the stories BoA’s mother shares is of BoA and her second brother writing down their dreams and placing them in a time capsule which was to be buried.
BoA learned how to dance from her second brother since an early age, and has always maintained a sincere brother-sister relationship. In the time capsule, BoA wrote that she was going to become a singer, while her brother, Kwon Soon Wook, wrote he would become a movie director. The two promised each other that they would dig up their time capsule only until both have fulfilled their dreams.
16 years later, since both have successfully achieved their goals, the two decided to finally dig up their long awaited time capsule.
The siblings must be excited, if not nervous, to physically see that their dreams had come true.
